ABOUT US

TACTILITY is a micro brand of women's and unisex clothing that was founded in Armenia in 2023. The name speaks for itself: we value craftsmanship, quality, pleasant materials, and, of course, personal connection. Naturalness is also important to us — not only in terms of fabrics but also in our communications and meanings. That’s why one of our key goals is to encourage self-expression, not to chase passing trends. For us, the brand is about co-creation — a shared space between our team and our community, where exchanging stories and emotions leads to something truly beautiful.

Why is TACTILITY?
At first, tactility in the name was meant quite literally - it grew out of a deep love for fabrics and their textures: the fluid smoothness of satin, the raw coarseness of denim, the soft, peach-skin-like fuzz of cupro, and the natural fibrous character of linen.

Over time, the physical aspect was joined by an emotional one. Tactility, touch - these words began to stand for emotional connection, for safe and warm communication. It forms a transparent chain: from the very first touch of a fabric swatch before production (on the brand’s side) to the final touch of the finished garment by its wearer.
Clothes made to be in touch with you
We genuinely believe that in the relationship between a person and clothing, the person always comes first. Garments should adapt to one’s lifestyle and personal style - not the other way around.
That’s why, when designing our pieces, we focus on versatility and multifunctionality, allowing a TACTILITY garment to truly adapt to its wearer.
For example, we have midi skirts that may look basic at first glance, but feature an important detail: a front drawstring with ties that can be adjusted to create asymmetric draping - for those who want to add a more expressive accent to their wardrobe.

Our collection is built on the idea that every piece has its own story or association. Clothing serves as a memory keeper, whether it’s for a long-awaited trip, the first meeting with a beloved person, or a concert by a favorite artist. We share more details about the underlying ideas and meanings on our Instagram @tactility_clo in the stories behind post series.
TACTILITY adheres to slow fashion principles, which is why we produce a limited number of items
We also use a preorder system to avoid overproducing clothing and to better respond to our customers' needs. Furthermore, we create appliqués for our BLOOMING bags from fabric scraps and (fingers crossed) plan to further develop this initiative.

We truly appreciate
  • Naturalness
in speech, behavior, appearance, and life—without trying to reshape yourself or your personality to fit society’s standards. There is great strength, confidence, authenticity, and love in naturalness.
Following your principles, listening to yourself, and being true to who you are are challenging tasks in the noise of the modern world. Our mission is to serve as a guide on this difficult journey, highlighting the beauty of being human.
  • Empathy
compassion, involvement, and the ability to "step into" someone else's feelings and experiences—all of this helps us as a brand to better understand our customers, the people whose support and engagement we deeply value.
  • Honesty
with ourselves and with you. The first is about honestly acknowledging our strengths and limitations, allowing ourselves time, and not demanding too much.
The second is about openness in our processes — recognizing our failures and learning from them, embracing an ongoing, honest dialogue that helps us grow and become better, together
  • Creation
    Co-creation
for us, TACTILITY is always about connection — a delicate, transparent thread of touch: to fabric, to the garment, to one another. We’re grateful to inspire you toward new creative explorations — but in truth, it's you who ignite us to keep going, to create, and to evolve.

Creation as an act — a quiet protest against destruction.
